Holistica Foundation Inc. (hereafter “HF”) is committed to earing and keeping the trust and confidence of our donors. To that end, HF has established the following practices regarding privacy & cookie policies.

  1. The website www.holisticafoundation.org (the “Website”) is owned and operated by Holistica Foundation Inc., with headquarters at 244 Fifth Avenue, Suite H231, New York, NY 10001. We also have operations in Brazil, through the 1BOOK4LIFE Program, which you can contact by e-mail (social@1book4life.com).

HF will NOT sell, share, rent or trade your information or personal data with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, except through 1BOOK4LIFE Program. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY

The information we may collect includes information you provide us directly, as well as information provided by third parties or automatically through your use of our website. This information enables us to improve our work, communicate with you about our programs, respond to your inquiries and provide support, fulfill your requests and donations, and for other donor service purposes. We also use information to improve our understanding of your interests and better tailor the content and information that we may send or display to you, such as newsletters or other information we think may interest you.

 

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT DIRECTLY FROM YOU. Personal information collected may include your name, postal address, telephone number(s), email address(s), or other information. We also request that you provide us with additional personal information, such as credit card information, on our online donation pages to properly enable donation transaction processing.

We may collect information from you in the following ways: (a) you make a donation to us (which may be financial or non-financial) , or respond to our mailing and appeals; (b) you contact us in relation to volunteering for us or fundraise on our behalf; (c) you attend one of our sponsored events; (d) you apply for a job with us or become an employee or provide services via an agency or provide consultancy services directly to us; (e) you contact us with inquires or other correspondence (including via social media, signing up for our newsletter, etc.) or become involved with us in another way.

We store the information that we receive from social media services with other information that we collect from you or receive about you.
  4. Information we receive from other sources. Your information may be given to us by third parties, for example fundraising sites like Just Giving and Classy. They will do so pursuant to their own policies on data protection and privacy. It is recommended to review their privacy policy when you provide your information to them to fully understand how they will process your data and may share it with others.
  5. HF does not intend to collect information from children under the age of 18 via this website. If you are under 18 years old, you should not provide personal information on our website or use this site without the supervision or authorization of an adult. In addition, please note that children under the age of 18 may not make donations on this website without parental consent.
  6. We may also collect sensitive personal information about you, such as details about a health condition or disability, where it will mean we can communicate with you appropriately in the future. We may also collect this information if you plan to attend an event.
